You could potentially buy a lot for a few thousand dollars, build an economically priced house, and resell for a profit of thousands. You could also turn it into a rental property, helping to generate income for years to come.
In Costilla County, a rental property might not be a bad idea. It’s close to hunting spots, and there are lots of trees, forests, and outdoor activities. So you could develop it into a simple A-frame cabin, or even make it an off-grid cabin, it doesn’t need to be anything really fancy. Then you could rent it out on VRBO or Airbnb. That could be a lucrative side hustle for you.
Flip It
